What kind of fitness do you want?

crossfit: (noun) constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensities. Different people have different training goals, depending on what activity they take part in. Thus, training would also be different. How about those of us who do not take part in any competitive sport? are there options we can take up which will benefit our health and fitness? My interpretation of the statement above about Crossfit is that it's a mixture of the different kinds of fitness as both strength and endurance and speed/power are important.
