today's workout is a metabolic-conditioning workout. a term used by the crossfit community to describe a workout that taxes the cardiovascular system through high intensity and volume. normally using bodyweight exercises or moderate weights for the compound movements. so today's workout is like the main bodyweight workout which taxes the whole body and i really enjoy it. it consists of pull-ups, push-ups and bodyweight squats. working the back, chest, shoulders, arms, legs! plus all exercises are compound exercises. so burn many many calories. today's workout:
as many round as possible in 20 mins:
5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 bodyweight squats.
14 rounds exactly.
got a PB today! my last attempt on cindy was 12 rounds. and today i beat it by 2 rounds. haha. think maybe i could have squeezed in one more. but oh well.. that's for another time. good enough for me today! but i aim to do better! slowly on the road to recovery! cheers guys.
